OH OH and let me not forget to clarify. Orrin is half-aves sapien so he's got a pair of wings he's able to fly with. Incase anyone gets confused with the flight tid bit.

aaaannnnd also both characters have a french accents if you wanna better imagine their voices ^^

“Spring seems to be breaking in wonderfully. On the 19th day of Halcyon’s Root I’ll be spending the noon out in the field near the Guild. The blossoms should be lovely this year. Might you have time to come to Celba and join me? I apologize for the aburpt nature of this letter. I know we’ve not spoken in a while. We can talk more later.

~ Juliana~ “

Orrin smiled remembering the letter she had written. He was quite pleased with the invitation to enjoy the spring weather with her. His golden hair bounced as he trotted through Celba atop his palomino Clydesdale mare, Aeris. Early that morning before the sun barely peaked over the horizon he had flown from the frigid northern air of Albern. He soon arrived at his second home in Ralostine. A city not too far from his destination ,giving him time to rest from his trip and freshen up for his meet up with Juliana. Dressing in his some of his best clothes, he had specifically chosen to wear his blue coat, as it was a pigment Juliana had expressed flattered him the most.

It wasn’t soon before he saw the village where she resided rolling into view. It was a quiet place adorned with simplistic rustic beauty and had served as her home in times of old long before she had ascended. He always found it interesting how she turned her old home into her base of operations, building and governing a very successful guild. There was much stillness in the village as he rode in. It was never a bustling place to begin with. But with the spring weather chasing away the chill of winter, the village’s people seemed to be taking it particularly easy. Enjoying the warmth the new season brought.

His eyes caught sight of the field she spoke of. It was a sea of amethyst. Sliding off the side of Aeris he hitched her to a fence that ran along the outer edges of the field. Finding an opening in the fence, he entered. The purple blossoms were very common all across Myriall and seeing meadows like this were always a breath taking sight to behold. Orrin enjoyed seeing the blossoms as well but they weren’t what took his breath away. In the distance he spotted her. He stared on enamored as she strolled among the flourishing purple blooms, hands grasping and lifting the front of her pastel green-blue dress. The noon sun on her fair skin and hair made her appear almost ethereal.

She hadn’t spotted him as he made his approach until he was but a mere couple of feet from her.

“Juliana.” His face was full of delight as she turned, giving him an anxious smile.

His expression quickly turned to worry.

What troubles you fjade?” The Arkan word rolled off his tongue. It meant ‘snow’ and he would sometimes use it as a term of endearment toward her.

“Am I so transparent?”

“You were never good at concealing distress, fjade.”

His mind quickly raced over what could possibly be the issue and it wasn’t long before he had settled on the Edrucarian. His brow furrowed and his posture became stern, blue eyes gleaming.

“That man. What has he done.”

“Nothing! He’s done nothing!” Her response was prompt. “I promise you he’s done nothing to hurt me, far from it. In fact he left several weeks ago.”

There was a hint of sadness in her voice.

“You’re upset…that he’s gone?” He questioned, reading into her tone. His heart sunk. What kind of feelings did she harbor for this man?

“No…ah…Yes. I mean…” Juliana sighed. “He was a good friend and without him I would never have gathered the strength to have you come here so I can do what it is that I’m going to do.”

Something told him this was more than just a casual outing.

“ Why did you want me to come?”

She stepped closer to him.

“I have something I need to say to you.” Juliana breathed and Orrin swallowed hard.

The peaceful meadow around them did nothing to calm his nerves.

She fixed her eyes onto his and began. “ You’ve been very good to me. You are probably the most patient and respectful man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.” Her voice trailed off at the last statement. “ I…am sorry for all the confusion I caused you. I just…I’m sorry I never wanted to hurt you but it seems that all I’ve ever done and I’ve always felt so guilty.”

Orrin felt his heart beating uncomfortably in his chest. “…I…don’t be so hard on yourself ,fjade…”

Though it was true, she had hurt him but it never made him bitter. Orrin never judged or pressured her. He was aware of a particularly violent event that had transpired in her past. Though she never went into detail about it, he knew it was to blame for keeping them apart.

“You were the first man in many, many years I found that I felt comfortable with. You…you make me happy.”

Orrin’s heart swelled. He made her happy. Such a simple statement but it meant so much to hear her say that.

“ You know I always aim to please you, fjade.”

Juliana smiled meekly, reaching for one of his gloved hand, clasping it between her own.

“Orrin. Would you …have me?”

The question actually stunned him. Of course he would have her! He had to fight to urged to even exclaim that fact.

Taking a chance Orrin gently grasped her waist, pulling her to him. She hadn’t flinched…she merely accepted him as one of her delicate hands found its way to his shoulder. His expression was gentle as he looked down to her. He reached his other arm around, moving some of her ivory tresses away from her face. He had dreamed of holding her this way. Now that he was, he found himself shockingly at ease.

Her eyes remained down cast and awash with apprehension.

“Won’t you look at me?” The question, more of a request.

She looked up to him, their eyes meeting.

“ I think you already know the answer to your question Juliana. So I’ll turn the question on to you: Do I fit into your world, will you have me?”

The hand on his shoulder had traveled to rest on the side of his face.

“Yes.” She stated softly.

With that, Orrin lowered his lips to hers, albeit with some hesitation. These were lips he waited centuries to feel against his own and nothing could have prepared him for the fire that ignited as he felt a softness he could never have imagined. He could not help but deepen the kiss. Holding her firmly against him, they shared a kiss so tender that when they pulled away there was a heavy sigh from both of them. Orrin rested his forehead upon hers.

There was comfortable silence. A gentle breeze rolled in making waves in the ocean of violet they stood in.

Orrin loosened his hold on Juliana allowing her to step back. His eyes scanned over her face and he noticed she seemed a lot more relaxed. He grabbed her hand.

“Come. We've a beautiful spring day to enjoy.”

The corners of Juliana’s lips perked up as she grabbed her skirts with her free hand, walking along side him .
